The following is an example of a typical day at Abundant Life Christian Learning Center:

5:30am-Center Opens-Free Play
6:45am-Snack is served
7:00am-Free play & teacher directed activities in gym until teachers arrive
8:00am-Teacher arrives-free play in stations
8:45am-Transition-Cleanup and bathroom break
9:00am-Breakfast is served
9:30am-Circle Time
-Welcome Song -Weather -Lesson -Story and discussion -Art -Sensory Tables
10:00am-Bathroom Break
10:10am-Transition-Outdoor free play & teacher directed activities (weather below 90 degrees and above 20 degrees) or gym play
11:15am-Transition-Bathroom break, wash hands, prepare for lunch
11:30am-Lunch
12:00pm-Free Play
12:30pm-Transition-Bathroom breaks and then nap
2:30pm-Transition-Wake up, bathroom break and wash hands
2:45pm-Snack
3:00pm-Transition-Afternoon curriculum
3:30pm-Free play in stations
4:00pm-6:00pm-Transition-Outdoor free play & teacher directed activities (weather below 90 degrees and above 20 degrees) or gym play

*Bathroom breaks are permitted as needed.
A rest period will be provided for all children in care longer than three hours a day for at least one hour. Children are required to rest for half an hour. Any children still awake after the half hour requirement will be allowed to get up and do quiet activities such as, but not limited to: reading stories, playing with manipulative, puzzles and play dough.
