Catch the Vision

  Choosing a church to call "Home" is a decision some people approach casually — perhaps too casually — as if deciding where to have the dry cleaning done. Is it close to my house? Are the hours convenient?

The good news is, we're living in a day in which more and more people are realizing the importance of belonging to a church family. They're discovering the support and positive power for living that comes from being connected to people who care about them. They're finding out that spiritual things matter.

Still, there's the question of which church to choose. For families to survive and thrive in these volatile times, they need plain, practical teaching from the only reliable source of truth and wisdom on earth — God's Word. That's the kind of teaching you'll find at Abundant Life Church.

Abundant Life Church does not focus on having official membership, but holds that each Christ Follower is important wherever they are on their spiritual journey. Those that choose to come along side and participate are considered members.

 Participation means that you are receiving from the church through the shared worship experience, the relevant teaching of the Word of God, and the friendship of all the people who call Abundant Life Church their home. It also means that you will want to further participate by giving of your talents to serve and help in the varied ministries of your church.

To help you participate there is an important Luncheon, “Catch the Vision,” that the Pastors offer a couple times a year. Pastor Kevin Humphrey and Pastor Ted Marsh share where we’ve come from and where we are going as a church. This allows you to ‘Catch the Vision’ and come with us as we work together to fulfill the purpose God has for us.
